Many of my friends asked me that what is the delicious food that we can find in Ipoh. Are the food there very tasty and special? Why Ipoh becomes the food paradise in Malaysia? I can confidently tell you “Yes” because I was born in Ipoh and Ipoh is full of mouth-watering food. Now, let me take you to look for the most Yummy food in Ipoh.

ONN KEE / LOU WONG BEAN SPROUT CHICKEN

BEAN SPROUT CHICKEN is the most popular food that you must eat when you come to Ipoh. If you never have it, you must try it because the bean sprout in Ipoh is very nice compared to others in Malaysia. As the old generation said, “If you never eat BEAN SPROUT CHICKEN, Don’t tell people that you had come to Ipoh. ”

These two restaurants are highly recommended by me. This is because the soup is very tasty because it is the pure chicken soup and it makes the noodle become more delicious while you have it with the bean sprout and steam chicken like what i had recommended above.

Ipoh people prefer to have their delicious breakfast with white coffee and egg tart because they feel that they are enjoying their lives while they can meet and chat with their family and friends in the morning. This is because Ipoh people’s lives are very relax and they are more concern to the family and friendship compared to others. So you can find Ipoh people are very friendly.

Don’t forget to come to CHOONG KEE BIG TREE. It also known as ‘Dai Shu Keok’. There are a lot of fried food which is cheap, delicious and large enough that you will feel valuable when you eat all of them. Then, the Laksa will make you mouth watering because compared to Penang’s laksa，I will strongly recommend it to you. During the school holiday, please come earlier because you will wait for a long queue or you can have it because the fried food here especially the fried turnip here is limited.

For people who like to eat dim sum, I will strongly recommend you to go to MING COURT HONG KONG TIM SUM. You can find various type of Hong Kong dim sum here. Many Ipoh people like to come here to eat dim sum, so it will always full house every weekends and public holidays. Therefore, you need to wake up early to taste the delicious dim sum

FUNNY MOUNTAIN‘s tau fu fa and soya bean milk are the most famous in Ipoh. Especially Tau Fu Fa, it is smooth, soft and sweet enough and you will feel like it slowly dissolve in your mouth when you eat it.
